In May 2018, Dr. Michele Johnson received Trinity University’s inaugural President’s Award for Excellence in Student Advocacy. This award recognizes faculty and staff who “quietly and selflessly share their heart, time, talent, and treasure” with students. Dr. Johnson was honored for her work with students in the classroom, her research lab, and the student groups she advises, and for her commitment to diversity and inclusion.
